The ARISE! Journey

"For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to sprout up before all the nations."~Isa 61:11

ARISE! has been a faith journey, obeying God's call to gather the children into His presence...everything that has happened over the last 14 years has been His doing, all glory to God! Today we see how Isa 61 that the Lord impressed on us for ARISE! is coming to pass. We thank God for every individual and all our partners who has supported this vision.

BEGINNINGS

ARISE! started with a vision from the Lord - a picture of children, hundreds running up to their Daddy God, with hands raised up in worship...

At the beginning of 2000, I started to ask God what His will was for me.

Around April, I was driving along Nichol Highway and praying when, I had a picture of children, many children, running forward; hands outstretched and praising God. I knew in my heart that He was answering me. I asked for a confirmation if this was what He wanted to bring about. In June, we had our church camp. I continued to ask God for a confirmation; for three days I asked for a word….

Beverly Mortlock, our speaker’s wife gave me a word- she saw what looked like an egg that God had given me and it was “a task” that “you are to bring it to birth” – she said a whole lot more and everything was specific to the “task.” She did not know of this vision and had no idea I was asking for an answer.

EVERY TIME ZONE

After each ARISE! we wait on God to see if He would want it to run again but 2012 was different. The vision was expanded to have ARISE! in every time zone of the world -continual praise and worship and prayer.

We first received this impression back in early 2002-2003 during our intercession time. Back then I thought, 'How on earth could this happen'. But in 2010, the Lord reminded me of this Word through a Heidi Baker conference when she asked the question - 'What vision has God given you and you thought it's too big; don't drop the ball.'
By faith we began to put the call out to the nations in 2011, to gather the children in praise & worship.

By God's grace, in 2012, people from 30 cities/countries responded and gathered children to ARISE! on April 14 (4-14). The name of Jesus was lifted up across 20 time zones that day. Since then more than 50 cities has had ARISE!

LIKE DANDELIONS

Like dandelions being dispersed by the wind, the Holy Spirit will move and spread the worship of the children across the nations

In 2014, the Lord showed different ones who prayed for ARISE! the picture of dandelions being dispersed by the wind, the wind of the Holy Spirit, who would spread the worship across the nations. We trust that as we faithfully share the vision and work in partnership with like-minded individuals and groups/churches, the Lord Himself will establish the heart of worship in His children
